Head of Psychology
Tamara holds a Master Degree in Psychology from the University of Liverpool, London, and a Bachelor degree in Psychology from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. She is also a certified behavioral therapist, and has extensive experience in special education and learning difficulties. She is able to work with children, adolescents and parents using best practices. Tamara has been working with special ability children and their families for more than six years, during which she worked specifically with individuals presenting developmental delay, cognitive impairment, learning difficulties, neurodevelopmental disorders and other mental health disorders.
She is able to provide assessment and therapy in both English and Arabic, and is able to provide parents and caregivers with guidance, counseling and techniques to achieve a better quality of life.Tamara holds the position of the Head of Psychology where extra duties were added to her day to day activities.
A side from conducting assessments and therapies, she is responsible for assigning appropriate intervention for different children, and ensuring that best practices are taking place in therapy sessions. She is also responsible for communicating with schools and other academic facilities to provide teachers, educators and caregivers guidance on managing special ability children in classrooms.
