Speech and Language Pathologist
Christo Chandranath holds a Bachelor degree in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences from Sri Ramachandra University, India. He is a dedicated therapist since 2007 dealing with individuals with communication disorders recognized under the Rehabilitation Council of India.
He is a member of Indian Speech and Hearing Association and of the newly founded Emirates Speech and Language Pathology Society who operates under Emirates Medical Association. He is specialized in intervening with individuals with cleft lip and palate, voice disorders, early intervention for hearing impaired and he has also involved herself in community-based rehabilitation and in tele-practice to provide services to a wider range of individuals.
He has worked as speech language pathologist for 11 years and is experienced in dealing with paediatric, adult and geriatric population with speech and language disorders.
His strengths include: Early Intervention and Parental Guidance for children who are at high risk of developing Language and communication problems, Speech and Language disorders within a broader diagnosis such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, certain Genetic Syndromes… In addition to Auditory Processing disorders; specific Learning Disabilities; Stuttering treatment for all ages; and Articulation disorders. He has certified from ASHA (American Speech and Hearing Association) for the treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech. He is also experienced with the Picture Exchange Communication System PECS. The passion and dedication has made him well trained in treating individuals successfully.
